Steps to Apply for a Thai Student Visa (Non-Immigrant ED Visa)
 
Step 1: Apply for Admission Submit an application to Thaksin University International College (TSU-IC) and receive an official Letter of Acceptance. This letter is required to apply for a student visa.
 Step 2: Prepare Required Documents Gather the following documents:

  Valid Passport (valid for at least 6 months from entry date)

  Letter of Acceptance from TSU-IC

  Completed Visa Application Form

  Proof of Financial Support (e.g., bank statements)

  Passport-sized Photographs (usually two)

  Visa Application Fee (varies by embassy)

 
Step 3: Submit Visa Application Submit the application and required documents to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Processing typically takes 5 to 15 business days.
 
Step 4: Receive Visa Once approved, you will receive a Non-Immigrant ED Visa (student visa) for single entry and a stay of up to 90 days.
 
Step 5: Arrive in Thailand Upon arrival, go through immigration and receive a 90-day stay stamp. You must report to the Thai Immigration Office within 24 hours.
 
Step 6: Apply for Visa Extension Before the 90-day visa expires, apply for a visa extension at the Thai Immigration Office. This extension is typically granted for up to 1 year and can be processed with support from TSU-IC.
  
Step 7: Re-entry Permit (if applicable) If you plan to leave Thailand temporarily, apply for an Exit and Re-entry Permit at the Thai Immigration Office to maintain your visa status.
